In the course of your adventuring, you will almost always unlock at least the first tier of these deeds. The other deeds in the log shown above are examples of monster-slaying deeds. This is automatically bestowed on anyone who has the skill to reach level 10! Not shown on the screenshot is the award of 5 points for completing the Epic deed, Epic Battles Await. It’s part of a series that rewards you with higher totals of points as you progress through the chain. The Ally of Ered Luin deed on the screen was awarded for completing 10 simple quests around Celondim. Some you get for killing set numbers of monsters within a zone, some come from completing sections of the Epic Quest, others are given for completing quests in an area. Deeds, for those who don’t know, are a major component of the game, which can earn you important rewards such a faction reputation, traits, &, of course, those lovely LOTRO points. She will be my main character on the account, and I’m curious to see what I can unlock with her. This is to see how many points I can get whilst doing what everyone else does in-game, questing, grinding etc. I’ve decided that I’d like to play Hiraeth as normally as possible. Just by doing a few simple quests & deeds, she’s reached level 11 & added to her pile of LOTRO points. Hiraeth has escaped the tutorial & is now in the Elven starting area of Celondim.
